We are 'Blagss Rocks' a football team for the LGBTQ+ community and our friends.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach, everyone plays and is part of the team. This includes our competitive games. We run regular training sessions, and we enter all sorts of different tournaments and events.
We are in the GFSN nationwide 11 a side league with home games and away games to London and beyond. We will be taking part in the Valencia 2026 Gay Games.
We are looking to recruit new players for training and to complement our existing squad, so please get in touch.
We have a 90 minute training session every Thursday. Please arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 to meet up, have a warm up, do some passing and shooting practice, ready for a 6:30 kick off. We play until 7:30. We often head to the pub or beach afterwards for food and/or a drink.
We play outdoors at The Manor, just at the back of Kemptown MAP LINK.
This is on a 3g 7 aside size pitch.
It is a 3G artificial pitch with floodlights etc and is best used for 7-aside. Please wear astro shoes or moulded boots, but no studs or blades. Do consider wearing shin pads (we have some spares).
The first session is free as a taster - then the weekly fee is £7.50.
