Dance : C2C@Blagss

Originally set up in 1998, Cheek2Cheek is a non-profit making social dance club for the LGBTQ+ community. Our aim is to provide a relaxed and friendly environment in which people can learn to dance and also socialise.

We cover many Ballroom dances (Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot & Tango) and Latin dances (Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba and Jive). From time to time we also hold workshops, learn sequence dances and line dances.

Classes are held at Court Farm Studios, East Street, Falmer - see Side Bar for directions

You do not have to wear a face mask to dance, but you may if you wish

We usually swap partners during classes as it is good to practice with different people. During Covid you may stay with one partner or dance on your own. Please sanitise your hands between partners (hand sanitiser is provided)

Directions to Court Farm Studios

By car: Follow signs from the A27 to Falmer South and cross over the A27. At the traffic light junction for the University and the Football Stadium, turn left towards Falmer (this is Park Street). Keep ahead onto East Street (Park St bears sharp left - don't follow the left turn!). East Street also swings to the left and then there is a small junction - turn right here - Court Farm Studios are clearly signed. Continue until you come to the barn and car park.

By train to Falmer Station: - it is a 10-15 min walk around the stadium to Village Way, across the traffic light junction to continue to Falmer via Park St , continue onto East Street and follow the signs for Court Farm Studios

By bus to Falmer: buses go either to the Village stop (the wrong side of the A27, but there is a footpath over the road!) or to Village Way on Brighton University Campus - both are then short walks along Park Street and East Street to the Studios
